We booked safari play for our sons 9th birthday as they have now got laser tag and it seemed like a good option. So after enquiring about it we decided to go ahead as the price was reasonable and the package seemed to accommodate my son's tastes, especially with food etc. We arrived at the venue on the day and we were greeted in the reception area by the party team, who were polite, friendly and took us through to his party table, he was overjoyed at the fact he had a throne to sit on. This was a nice touch. As the guests arrived they were greeted and brought over to where his table was. Which was really helpful. As parents we were given a run down of how the party would.go ahead and times for each part of it. The children got to play in the soft play until the food was ready and were then called over to eat, we chose the burgers, pizza, chicken package and there was more than enough food for all the children, the adults even ended up eating some as there was so much. The laser tag portion did not disappoint. After the children were finished the host started a briefing on how the guns work and explained what was going to happen. Then asked the adults if they wanted to join in. The inner child in us was ready and willing to take these children down! We played around 5-6 games of laser tag and the party lasted from 5:30-7:30pm. This is more than enough time as the whole party was a sweaty mess by the end of it. I just want to thank the party host, I'm sure he told me his name but I am not good at remembering names, but it was the young guy with curly black/dark brown hair. He made it so easy for the parents as everything was structured and excellently guided, my son actually said it was the best day of his life, so you are doing an amazing job! Thank you so much, you are a credit to your employer and deserve commending on such. I hope you get to hear this feedback.

Overall Safari Play is an exciting new Party venue and a great soft play area for kids. We had a Birthday Party for my 3 year old at the Princess room and she loved it. The management personnel were very friendly and nice. I took one star off, because of our awful host. Unfortunately the hostess-princess Elizabeth wasn’t friendly at all and wasn’t very helpful either. Idk if she had a bad day or what, but she hasn’t smiled once during the whole time we spent in her company. When I called previously to the head office they told me that host would help us with cutting and serving cake and with getting everyone ready to sing “Happy Birthday” as well. The whole time Elizabeth just stood somewhere in the middle of the room without doing anything particular at all and the purpose of her being there wasn’t clear at all. I did receive few complaints from other parents about our hostess as well. One of my friends even asked her name, because she said she would love to have her daughter’s party at the Safari Play, she just wanted to make sure they wouldn’t get the same hostess🤦🏻‍♀️ To sum everything up: the place is great and most of the staff is friendly and nice. Maybe just make sure you see who’s going to host your party in advance in order to not being disappointed!

I visited safari adventure soft play with my 7 year old son attending an 8 year olds birthday party last weekend. We travelled a good 45 minutes to get here and wondered why the hosts hadn't picked somewhere closer. On arrival we found a huge car park and saw the size of the building and knew this wasn't a normal kids soft play.. We went inside and it was absolutely huge, the reception team were super switched on and we were allocated a member of staff who stayed with us throughout the birthday party. We were taken to a table where the children were given a drink and put their shoes in a bit bucket to avoid them getting lost - fantastic. The whole place is absolutely spotless and really clean, it has a great cafe for the adults and so much to explore for the children. 2 hours wasn't long enough! Towards the end we were asked to gather the kids and all washed their hands in a row of sinks then asked to go through to the party food room. This is a row of rooms separate from the main soft play area, once you go through you can't go back. It's so well thought out and the team absolutely smashed it. Great job

I often take my little one to Safari as it is a great softplay with really good food. I recently booked a superhero themed party here for my little ones 4th birthday as she is superhero obsessed. I thought that the party package was great for the price as although a little pricey, the food was included aswell as a few extras which isn’t offered at most other places for party packages unless you pay extra. Unfortunately it wasn’t quite what i hoped for or expected. We didn’t receive a few of the things that they say you get with the party package and the party host was probably with us for all of 10 minutes if that. She was difficult to find throughout the 80 minutes of play and during the 40 minutes of food she was in and out helping another party booking and was only really there to help us do the cake. She was lovely but no one even realised she was our party host as that was how little they saw her. The website states that children attending the party will be offered a superhero cape to wear when eating but this was never offered to the children attending the party. It also states that children will all receive a certificate for attending the party but this also wasn’t offered to us. We did ask about the certificates as we were leaving and were told that they haven’t had any for awhile but could post me one when they next get some in which just seemed a little disappointing. This was the first party that i have booked for my little one and i was very nervous so was relying on it being more organised than it was from the venues side but it all felt very unorganised and rushed which was a shame. Even the 40 minutes of food felt rushed, some food was missed and brought out late and the party rings were not given out at all. It also says on the website when booking a party that you will be sent a free pass for the birthday child to attend safari play at a later date, i still haven’t received this either. It is a shame as Safafi play is a great softplay, one of the best that we have locally in Peterborough but i felt let down by the party experience we had for how much i...

Extremely unhappy with our experience today. We arranged a birthday party for our son which cost us £300 in total which turned out to be a huge disappointment and the staff was very unorganised. 1- For 18 people they had reserved a table for only 6 , on requesting for more chairs we were told by staff to grab chairs ourselves as we find any free ones . And obviously when we did that we were told off by another staff member. 2- The place was so overbooked that there was hardly place to stand without being in anyone’s way or to walk without bumping into people. 3- Food was served 20 minutes late ( because they were overbooked - that’s the reason given to us ) 4- BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT— one of the children got sick in the meal room. And vomited on the floor And we requested the staff member hosting our party if it could be cleaned as there was lot of vomit on the floor too and other children were still eating in that room and she said I would throw up myself on top of it if I tried to clean it so my husband asked them to get atleast some napkins and bags so he can help the mum of the child clean up . This was extremely disappointing watching the mum of the sick child cleaning up the vomit from the floor with tissues while the host was least bothered about it . ( didn’t even try to help ) .It’s a soft play ( venue for children) one would expect them to have some arrangements in case any child got sick . On top of it I didn’t know that my husband had already requested them to clean and they had refused so when I asked her separately to get it cleaned she lied and said to me “ oh but your husband offered to do it himself “. He didn’t offer , he didn’t have a choice . We couldn’t carry on the celebration in a room with vomit over the floor now could we. 5- While serving the cake the staff member said “ while I wrap the cake pieces into napkins , can the birthday boy serve it to children ?” And obviously that turned out to be a mess . Half of the children got cake , half left without it . There was chaos . All in all very unorganised . I’m never going...
