Took us 2 hours to get there as read other reviews and thought it was worth a trip. I should have saved myself the hassle. You pay a £1 to enter the turnstile to gain access to the falls which you can’t actually see! You are able to see them if you go off the path and head down, but there is a sign telling you not too. There are a few viewing points but you can’t see anything as the bushes are in the way. The whole thing took about 10-15 mins to walk round. The paths etc are not for small children or people who aren’t steady on their feet. It left me feeling quite disappointed due to how long it took us to travel and was over in 15 mins! Save yourself the hassle and pay £2 to see Swallow Falls down the road. It’d be only good for people staying in the area to go and see, if you’re travelling just to see this,...

Found this place while trying to find somewhere nice to stop in the middle of our long drive.

Big free car park with plenty of spaces and clean toilets. We paid £2 each to go through the gate to the waterfall walk and really enjoyed it.

Circular mostly easy route of half a mile which took us 30 mins (with stopping for photos) Path not completely flat and some steps/hills but I wouldn't say it was challenging.

When we finished the walk we went into the cafe upstairs which was also really nice. Good breakfast menu of different choices.

We shared the Snowden breakfast which was basically 2 of everything. Massive and very good quality food. I also got an iced latte which was really really good.

The man serving was really friendly and we really enjoyed our visit here. Would highly...

Cowyn Falls is such an uncelebrated and under appreciated hidden gem compared to the ever-popular Swallow Falls — and that’s part of its charm. Tucked away in peaceful woodland, the trail winds gently through leafy, rocky and root strewn paths with nature sounds until you reach the beautiful cascade. It feels like stumbling across your own secret spot, away from the tourist crowds. There’s free parking right by the entrance, a cosy café serving drinks and light bites, and even a little ice cream hut for sunny-day treats. At just £2 per person, it’s fantastic value, but worth noting the path isn’t accessible for those with walking difficulties. Tranquil, photogenic, and refreshingly uncrowded — Cowyn Falls is a perfect addition to any North...

Dramatic waterfall in a rocky gorge, accessed by a pleasant woodland trail. There's a bench by the main viewpoint, from which both branches of the waterfall can be seen. At one point on the trail there's a break in the trees, revealing an impressive mountain view. In autumn, it's possible to see salmon jumping the falls on their journey upstream. I was fortunate enough to see several when I visited in early September. To help the salmon make their journey upstream, a fish pass has been installed, comprising a series of levels inside a tunnel. This enables fish to travel upstream beyond the waterfall, an otherwise impassable obstacle. There's plenty of free parking outside the Conwy Falls Café, with a charge of £2 to walk the trail.
