Very enjoyable for all the family. We spent the whole day here and all ages from 5 to 40 were entertained.

The various cafes and coffee stops around the place are well situated and offer a variety of drinks, including plant based milks and decaf. Food seems very reasonably priced but as we took a picnic can't comment on the quality.

There is a little theatre with a short production (wonder if they change up the script every so often, storyline was a bit meh but the children liked the panto style).

A large soft play with drip slide offered parents some respite. Plenty of toilets and a good system for cleaning was in operation between the sessions. Had to go back in after leaving and saw them disinfecting all the handrails inside the soft play area itself which I was impressed by.

The seating area in the soft play is a free for all which can mean lots of empty tables with families who have gone to play while you're left standing up for lack of seating, but it is what it is.

The water park, racing cars and bikes were all fun and the dippy dinosaur show outside was engaging for those who paid attention.

Lots of chances to explore with a wooden climbing frame, treehouse playground and a farm area. It was really great to see how well the animals were looked after. We reached that part at the very end of the day and all the bedding was fresh, food and water topped up and the animals were thriving in spacious runs and enclosures near a peaceful part of the park.

The clip and climb course was the only thing that probably needs review. Queues can get very long for the zip wire back to the start of the frame and it only took 1 child to feel apprehensive and the whole crowd was left standing with their small children for far too long. Then it rained. There was no way for the fearful child to exit the frame other than to return the way she had come, a walk of shame back through the maddening queue and all the way back through the high rope course again. This takes quite some time and could be rectified with an exit ladder at the zip wire end or similar. The same issue applied when the frame had to be cleared due to an incoming storm, they blew a whistle for everyone to leave and of course the only way was a descent back through the entire course. The combination of a clap of thunder, torrential rain and a loud whistle and shout from the crew left our children petrified and at height, so they cried their way back to the start, which took about 15 minutes. It was free, which was brilliant, but it just felt as though it could have been easier for all if there was an exit strategy at the zip end.

The park is laid out very well, with dinosaur information and huge figures all over the place. The many chances to break up the trail with play and coffee make it easy to keep young ones engaged and the gift shop is quite cheap with something for everyone too.

Overall, very good experience. Hopefully they do theme days and change the offer here and there so it wont get boring. Would visit again and recommend to dinosaur loving families visiting the area. It is...

We purchased tickets online, initially thought it was a bit on expensive side for four of us (2 adults and 2 children), but it had been on our 'to visit' list for a while. I was slightly concerned my son would be bored, and my daughter would be moaning that she doesnt like dinosaurs - but thankfully I was pleasantly surprised!

We got there shortly after opening, a bit of a free for all in the car park - and very small queue to get in. You can return to your car if you get your hand stamped, so we left lunch and drinks in car and just took the necessary stuff.

The park is sort of split into two, with a nice walk from one part to the other via the dinosaur trail (with augmented reality tasks if you choose to use them from the Roarr app). In the main area where you come in is the splash park (nice if the weather is good!), soft play area (kids loved this), theatre (didn't manage to get in), outdoor play, sand pit, grand prix (like the ones you get at amusement arcades but they give you tokens to start them), maze (not massive but kept us busy for 10 mins), mini golf (help yourself to putters and balls, quite laidback which was nice!) The second area has the animal area (guinea pigs, insects, snakes etc.), the high ropes (my son enjoyed this!) and a couple of small rides.

We were at Roarr all day and didn't leave till about 15 mins before close. Kids said they really enjoyed it, but I do think they will be too old for most of it (with exception of high ropes) in about a year or twos time - majority of it really is aimed at the very small folk!

Highlights for us were: Son - high ropes! He was scared initially but enjoyed it so much he went again a second time! Daughter - the dinosaur slide and foam party. The slide reminded me of those slides you used to get in pub gardens but on a much larger scale! Me and wife - Doodle with Duddle (the chap who created Gigantosaurus books)

The only thing I would feedback was the shows and timings of things - the map on the app was good, but I was sort of expecting some sort of timetable where I could see when everything was on. Consequently we messed up our timings slightly, and on one occasion we got to the theatre a couple of mins after start and was told they don't let anyone in. We didn't get a chance to get back so missed the theatre showing!

Staff of Roarr that we spoke to were nice and cheerful, and park was kept nice and clean. There is also food and drink outlets if you don't bring food with you, and if you do take food then there is a couple of picnic areas to sit (an inside one as well!)

A visit is recommended if you have small people below 10 years old ish! (Although if you have a kid who likes idea of trying the high ropes, then slightly older kids will probably enjoy...

Hands down the best park in Norfolk for kids up to 12 years old but best age is around 2 to 8. It's not what you think. It's not just Dinosaur park it's so much more I ended up buying annual pass on our first visit. I loved that there are nice and clean toilets everywhere you go you even have a quite room for nappy changes which we used a lot from the beginning. The people who work there are extremely helpful and polite. There are loads of dinos all around the park they move making noise and my 3 year old bless him truly believed they are real and was scared he kept asking me if they are real. Well there are real animals as well. Goats, piggies, ducks, Turtles, snakes, turkeys etc. Every weekend at 14:30 you can go to the special place where you can ask expert animal carer any questions and touch various exotic animals. In case of bad weather they have 2 huge indoor soft play areas one for babies and up to 2 years old other for older kids loads of slides and places to crawl hang and jump. In case you are hungry there is ice cream fish and chips and even restaurant to have a nice family meal in beautiful environment. In case there is very hot weather you can pop to splash area with loads of water splashing from the ground and small water slide to cool down a bit. There is so much more you really have to come with your kids at least once to see it yourself. Don't buy the tickets on the day they cost double around 22£ buy them in advance and you can pay half just around 10£.

Update review: May 2024

After me and my son now almost 4 years old came here basicaly almost every other weekend for the last year. It's fascinating how much he loves this place even he knows every corner of the park and he's been here a lot he still loves to come here and he is not bored even after approx 30 visit!!! I have to say a lot of changed since my last review which was about a year ago. Park build 2 amazing rides, loads of new dinosaurs all around the park. There is a new educational show with amazing presenter called Dino hunters. During the summer months or better say blue days on the park calendar every weekend at 16:30 there is a kids foam party!!! Whoever came with this idea deserve the raise. It's quite simple additon which had huge impact on not just my son but from the reaction of the kids also on their parents. It's safe fun and lot of foam everywhere. We had incredible time and my son cannot wait to come back again. Obviously we bought another annual pass for another year because the fantastic memories we had here so far are...

This is your sign to visit @ROARR!® in #norfolk there is so much to do and everything is included in the price which is amazing. There were plenty of places to grab a bite to eat but we took our own food.
