Weavers Triangle Visitors Centre — Attraction in Burnley

Sadly, the visitors centre was not open when we passed by on the canal. In fact it seems it rarely does open. To be fair, It is free to visit, and I suppose it is staffed by volunteers and must have some overheads to pay, so no doubt they have to restrict opening hours. Will hope to visit some day, but not sure I'll ever be in...

This is a fantastic museum to visit in Burnley. We organised a guided group walk at the canalside and saw the big old engine running as well. Amazing history of the cotton mills and how the boats were utilised to move goods. Great bring kids along. They need our donations to keep this heritage site running...
