The Corkhouse — Restaurant in Burnley

Finally visited this place after it always seemed to be closed when we passed. Hope this newly opened pub and restaurant can make a a do, very quiet when we went. Just being run by 1 staff member who seemed to working behind the bar and making the good. Lovely surround and decor, excellent drink choices ( good gin selection ),quirky menu options and nice staff. A good edition to Burnley's ever improving dining and drinking establishments,...

The wine they do have in is nice but they do seem to run out of wines or change their menu alot. I would suggest a chalk board rather than a printed menu if stock is likely to change so often. The food is okay but nothing to write home about. The atmosphere is strange one it changes alot. Sometimes it's a nice quiet wine bar, other times it's a bit noisy with groups before...

Very rude barman with attitude! He’s got a cup hook on the wall as you enter the building as my husband was leaving someone else was passing him in the door way needless to say my husband got caught on the hook and put a hole in an expensive jacket the barman’s attitude was well you walked to close to the wall 😖 needless to say we won’t be going in...
