This is an amazing small zoo situated near to the Coastal Town of Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire. The site is not vast but there is an array of different animals to see such as Skunks, Raccoons, Coatis, Agoutis, Meerkats, Parrots, Arctic Foxes, Emus, Flamingoes, Zebras, Ostriches, Black Swan and a Scarlet Ibis all of which are kept in clean, tidy and spacious enclosures showing that they are well looked after and their welfare is well maintained. The best of these animals are the Arctic Foxes and The Meerkats as they look particularly cute and are very playful with each other. There are information boards outside each of the enclosures detailing the animals habitat in the world, the area of the world where they are from and also the conservation efforts to protect them in the wild which is thoroughly interesting and useful to read giving you a full idea of their plight in the wild. The Birds of Prey are flown in an arena freely at selected times throughout the day and you learn more about the birds and their lifestyles in the wild from the keepers and also catch a great glimpse of them close up. Be warned on some days when it is has been raining heavily some areas of the park may be waterlogged and inaccessible and the attraction has compensated visitors in this situation by offering £5 entry price for Adults from the usual £9.95, which is more than reasonable. It is advised to wear sturdy footwear like wellies or walking boots if the park is waterlogged when visiting it. Other admission prices are £9.40 for Senior Citizens, £7.95 Child and a Family Ticket is £34.00. From walking around the site it appears they have recently obtained some Lorikeets which appear to be settling in well and there were areas that were closed off but would likely open during the bustier months showing the promise this place for further investment and opportunities for the place to grow. The attraction offers a couple of Animal Experiences which are the Meerkat and Owl Experiences with the Meerkat Experience renowned for being the best with visitors where you can go into the Meerkat enclosure getting right up close to them and feed them and learn more about them from the keepers and it is a great unique fun and interactive experience which is rewarding and worthwhile. The Owl Experience is pretty much the same going into the Owl Enclosure seeing them close up and learn more about them from the keepers. There is no cafe at the attraction itself but there is a selection of vending machines selling drinks and snacks such as Chocolate Bars but there is a Cafe nearby in the small retail village nearby and there is a gift shop selling a variety of souvenirs at reasonable prices. Overall this place for a fantastic and enjoyable day out and is really fun and interactive particularly for...

Booked in advance a hands-on owl experience. This was for two adults but also gave us plus 2 year old full access to the rest of the animal park. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

The owl experience was great. Paul was very knowledgable and friendly. He took us one at a time down the back of each bird enclosure and introduced us to his beloved birds. We wore a glove and followed simple instructions to allow the birds to fly over and perch on our hand safely for both bird and ourselves. Always felt comfortable as Paul explained the difference between the variety of birds of prey and the highly intelligent scavenger species. It was obvious that the birds were well looked after as they responded positively to Paul and were happy to freely fly in and out of their enclosures. This experience was about 30-40 mins and I recommend it to anyone who'd likes to learn more about species of owls and get close to these magnificent birds.

We then moved on and walked the well laid out path around the flamingos, skunks, meerkats, armadillos and many more under the wooded area. To our surprise the path continued out into the open where we discovered goats, camels, donkeys and emus all moving around large enclosures.

Finishing the pathway, we returned into the wooded area and saw colourful macaws or similar species of bird, then wallabies, guinea pigs and rabbits.

Our child really enjoyed the outdoor play area, perfect for him and I'm sure older kids too. There was plenty of space to picnic. We bought the mandatory cuddly toy owl from the gift shop which was well-stocked and ran by a friendly lady who took cash or card payments.

Although the car parking was wide and plentiful, the one thing this business could improve on is signage! The park shares space with a number of other businesses including a supermarket and caravan park; so as you drive in as a new guest to the animal park you'd hope to see clear signs where to park and how to access the entrance on foot. We found the walkway between the shop and the cafe eventually but a couple of signs would really...

I visited today with my kids (4 and 7) aswell as wife and parents. My wife had prebooked a "Meet The Meerkat Experience" for my eldest.

We were welcomed by Paul, and he was great with the kids, and was also familiar with a quality Yorkshire football team (🔵⚪🔵⚪🦉).

Admission prices were extremely fair, and would probably say is one the best value to money attractions we have visited in the last few years. So much so, that even as a Yorkshiremen, I was happy to let the kids have something from the gift shop without baulking at the cost.

Location is far from what I expected, but there was adequate parking. The park was clean, and well presented. All animals appeared to be kept in suitably sized enclosures, with very good visibility even for my youngest.

My eldest had the Meerkat experience with Mum, and Shannon conducted the session, she was great with them both (I did the last experience, so had to sit this one out). Paul warned us that they would be "covered" in Meerkats, and he was right, the Meerkats climbed all over them, legs, chest and even on the head! She had a brilliant time.

My highlight was the Birds Of Prey show, conducted by Paul, which was really engaging. His enthusiasm and adoration for the animals was clear to see, and the audience engagement made it for me.

All in all, I cannot rate Bridlington Birds of Prey and Animal Park highly enough, without doubt we will...

We knew we were off to a great start when we were greeted by a free roaming peacock displaying its beautiful feathers for us before we even entered reception. That was certainly a sign of things to come. I've never before visited an attraction like this where you can actually feed a raccoon, cuddle a skunk, picnic along side the peacocks, walk amongst the wallabies, cuddle the guinea pigs and have a front row seat at a bird display, eye to eye with an owl, falcon and other amazing birds. Who'd have thought during a trip to Brid we'd see monkeys, squirrels, zebras, meerkats, lemurs, skunks, raccoons, tortoises, flamingos, porcupines.....the list goes on. I can't believe we haven't discovered this place before, it's fantastic! Aside from the unusual animals, each member of staff we encountered were so passionate and enthusiastic about the animals and their 'job' (although I bet they wouldn't call it a job). A particular shout out to Richelle who made the bird show so very funny and entertaining. Thanks very much for a fun day out, one we will definitely be repeating.
