Read moreThe promenade is pleasant for a walk, run or cycle. But it is a very busy place, especially at the weekend. I would avoid going onto the beach, or if you do to wash hand well before you eat. It is VERY polluted along this stretch of beach. There is a cafe here but you should avoid it as the guy who owns it is very unfriendly and the prices are sky high. Further along in Crammond there is a pub and cafe that are much nicer and if you walk further there is another place that is also nice.
