Oasis Fun Pools — Attraction in Colan

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - travelled 50+ miles for a swim in the outdoor pool with my little one only to be told by the smarmy and arrogant sounding receptionist that the pool was unavailable to non-residents on that day when their site literally says "just turn up".

A hateful place that will never receive my custom ever again, hopefully this review will also help others to find somewhere else to spend their money and time.

Update: Oasis' response completely misses the point. The asterisk is in the wrong place on your website, it’s after "open from the end of May for the summer," which clearly reads as availability referring to open times, not hidden restrictions like “residents only.”

This swimming pool is exceptionally impressive and significantly superior to other nearby alternatives.

The water temperature was ideal, and the management of the slides and river run was commendable, with an ample number of staff members present to ensure safety and supervision.

It is worth noting that the lockers are relatively small, and the limited supply of family-sized lockers tends to be quickly depleted. Considering the family-oriented nature of the pool, it would be advisable to install more of these larger lockers. Additionally, if you require more than one locker, it is essential to bring a one-pound coin, as they do not provide change but will sell you a plastic token instead. First and last time me and my family are visiting that park. It's extremely overrated. Many people who came for a swim were extremely rude and would accuse other people that they are "being selfish" just because they're trying to take care of their kids. The lady at the reception was absolutely amazing and sweet but the lifeguards were not doing their job properly and coming up to my family giving us WARNINGS about their child being left "unattended" for the entire visit, although I was taking care of him on the slides and my parents were playing with him in the pool, whereas other kids who barely had their heads out the water were left unattended and parents weren't given warnings. NOPE....
