"An absolute hidden gem in the Cotswolds! Photographers and early birds - get here at dawn for pure magic. The historic water wheel and mill building create a perfect scene with the River Eye gently flowing past. The early morning light catches the emerald moss on the water wheel beautifully against the red brick and honey-colored Cotswold stone. Lower Slaughter itself is quintessentially Cotswolds, and much quieter than nearby tourist spots. I didn't make it into the museum as I was there way too early, but will check it out next visit to continue to learn about the history of the region.
Pro tip: Arrive before 9am to enjoy the mill and village in peaceful solitude. The morning light is perfect for photos, and you can hear the gentle splash of the water wheel without any crowds. Take a gentle stroll along the riverside path for more stunning views. The small museum and shop inside the mill add lovely historical context. One of the most photogenic spots in all of...

It’s obvious that he has no consideration for some people that might travel half way across the world to see this stuff. Avoid at all costs.
Side note: externally the mill is beautiful, just careless...
