Wonderful. Turn off the main road by the sign to Westbrook Hay School. Mind the unnecessarily vicious speed hump and either park on the left (often full) car park at the bottom of the hill, or for a much better experience, carry on and drive all the way up to the top of the hill and turn sharp left just before the school gates to a much larger car park by the Barn. Great views from up there and lots of walks across fenced in meadows made into large paddocks. Super safe for pooches. There is great signage telling you which one currently has sheep grazing (dogs go on leads) otherwise your four legged ones can roam freely across grassland and in some woodland. Car park is free, has dog poo bins and is very well maintained. A lovely spot. Other dog walkers very friendly here too. Obviously avoid school drop off and pickup times as the driveway gets very congested during those periods in term time. Otherwise a complete delight. The Trust managers are doing a superb job. Well worth a visit and very close the convenient and fast A41 dual carriageway.

The trust owns some lovely land for a dig walk or adventure with the children. They invest in upkeep and we visited a lot of with our children

It's a great place to walk your dog. It's massive but separated by fences in several large sections. I believe this is for the cows grazing along. They move section by section so they always have fresh grass... now, this could not be the reason for the different section. It could be that the cows get bored stiff after a few months and need a change... Anyway, all this is very convenient when you walk your dog. He cannot escape and cannot get to the cows, unless you help him. It is perfect to launch balls for your dog. Just one downfall: the noise. The park is located in between the A41 and the old London Road, therefore you have to be prepared that you will hear the traffic, depending on the wind. All in all .and if you consider your dog more than you can't stand...

Helped out volunteering to clear some wooded areas. Really enjoyed it. Well organised and thought out. Great for kids too! The cows were very interested in what we were doing. Came to see us and mingle with us as we worked. A well worth cause, trying to bring back the natural beauty of the area and attract more wildlife. Lovely location. Definitely...
