Fantastic little find. Not suitable for young children due to lots of step drops and holes to fall into. Be prepared to climb, crawl and explore get muddy and have fun. You can park very close by the Druids Inn pub. And the caves are just behind the pub. I think everyone should stop off at the pub and get a drink before or after visiting the caves as they allow people to access the caves though there property. Plus you will be needing a drink after the climbing about. As there is no easy access it is not suitable for anyone with restricted mobility as no real paths to follow and small gaps to squeeze though. If you want to explore the caves you will need a proper touch as the light on your phone will not be enough to see everything. There are multiple levels, entrances caves, tunnels and carvings to find. Take time to explore keep young kids close by as there are several drops which would cause significant injury. But don't be put off as the kids will love...

We absolutely loved our shady picnic that we enjoyed here during our visits to Peak District. The walk is not easily accessible and we met a local man who cautioned us to take care whilst exploring….. Which we did…. and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I would not recommend this spot after a wet day or during the winter when it was icy. But if you are careful and visit during the summer months it was a wonderful pit stop on our way deeper into the Peak District. Take care as you are exploring & it is a fascinating...

It's a must see if you are in the area. Not overly impressed with the Druid public house Prices are a little over the top for basic cheap wine. Serving the village drunk when they have had more than enough to drink lowers the tone of the establishment. More training for the staff definitely required with regards the law when serving alcohol. Not a lot has changed since...

Great place to visit the terrain is steep in places and the foliage is overgrown in places so good walking shoes is a must. The caves are not to far from the Druids Inn Pub there is a gate to the side of the pub with a trail that takes around 5 minutes to get to the cave or you can walk the long way around which I did which took like 30 minutes climbing over rocks.
