Beautiful place! The parking is very cheap, it was around £1 an hour or so. Very small car park though so be prepared if it's a sunny day to circle around a few times.

Beautiful view, small park for kids next to the car park, and an ice cream van was parked up there when we arrived.

Parking meters take card payment. Pay and display parking.

The house is free to enter and rich in history, absolutely wonderful.

Lovely walk around the house, dogs must be kept on leads.

There is a cafe that offers cakes, bakes, hot drinks, and light nibbles like sandwiches. In regards to cost, a desert of chocolate concrete that comes with custard/cream/ice cream was around £5.75 for reference.

There was another place to get food near the toilet area, they offered pizza breads, of similar cost to the cafe food.

This is a must visit spot, especially on...

Yet another really interesting place to visit. Absolutely brilliant value, very reasonably priced car park .... motorhome friendly. 3 hrs was £2.60 - bargain. There is an overflow carpark which they probably should have opened as we had to go round twice to find a spot. The house/museum is really interesting. We loved the little videos running all the black & white footage of Doncaster and surrounding areas. I recall being at the Blue Peter train rally - getting all 3s autographs! Mark you, we could also recall some of the kitchen utensils and toys in the museum !! There's a cafe, outdoor coffee hut, brewery and toilets. Then the park and children's play area. The guides in the house couldn't be more friendly or helpful....

Took 3 grandchildren plenty of parking easy paying carparkin by card 3 hours 2.60 . large activity playground both for younger and older children plenty of areas to play football etc . Ice cream van expensive cheapest item 3.00 but kids did enjoy them .

Went around museum guides fantastic taking time to talk to children who were fascinated with kitchen area lovely lady kept the kids engaged with explanation of how things worked .

Nice tea room which looked busy but also plenty of picnic benches to enjoy your own picnic.

Gardens and lake area well kept and clean plenty of space for kids to run around and take dogs on a walk .

Overall a lovely morning which we all enjoyed well...

A really lovely, scenic place to visit. A great park facility to entertain children with a few benches nearby and lots of open space to sit with a picnic and let pets run wild. There is a place to feed the ducks and go on a walk around the lake, plenty of wooded area to go on an adventure and a small, dainty cafe to enjoy a spot of lunch. Entertaining children up to the age of ten and tarmacced paths for cyclists, its suitable for everyone. With a small museum where you can explore the park's and local area's history, it is educational as well as peaceful. Would definitely recommend a visit!
