The Old Brewhouse — Restaurant in Doncaster

Really wanted to give this a 5 star review however it was massively let down by the first impressions this particular staff member gave.

We ordered a few hot and cold drinks and when I asked about pizzas the gentleman stopped, huffed and said yes in a way which made me feel like it was a massive inconvenience.

Naturally I checked if that was ok and was met again with more rude remarks.

Pizza was ok but base over cooked (felt like frozen base) drinks were good.

Unfortunately wait for food was over 20mins which was quite a while but was warned this before we ordered so expectation set.

Place looks good, atmosphere inside the courtyard good but massively let...

i would highly recommend this place. started going in because i walk my retired guide dog at cusworth, so a nice place to nip in for a sit down and drink before we walk home.

staff always very polite and helpful, dogs are accepted. limited seating inside but ample outside. the sell all sorts from crisps you put your own flavours on, pork pies scotch eggs, pizzas (some of nicest pizzas ive had in the area). they also do their own brew beer.

now we nip in several...

Update 03/08/2023 - on the visit today we visited the bar area, a great cosy little space. A quick half and a sausage roll 😁

Original Post: Popped by here today and was served by a very nice gentleman. A flat white, herbal tea, vegan sausage roll and caramel shortbread cakes 🍰 all very nice. The vegan roll was very tasty 😋 The coffee ☕ was well brewed and tasty. Definitely worth a visit if your passing through the park. Lots of other food...
