We went here with our 4 year old on a Wednesday, accidentally in half term. Booked online which I'm glad we did as the board outside said our time slot was full when we got there.... that's when I remembered it was half term 😂 It was super busy but the staff got us checked in and got our wristbands on smoothly. Once we were allowed in, it was a mad scramble for tables but we were lucky and got one that someone else was leaving. I didn't realise just how big it was...it goes so far back. There were loads to keep kids interested and our 4 year old had so much fun playing on the soft play, doing the interactive colouring, playing on the target shooter things and going down the rubber ring slide. He was mesmerised by the animatronic dinosaurs. Some older kids were a bit more crazier, running around and knocked a couple of smaller ones over but that's expected when they're somewhere fun and they're full of sugar, no major accidents. And several even offered to help my little one on the bigger climbing bits or stepped to one side to let him have a turn. Things were clean and seemed safe. Toilets were clean. We'll...

We spent the Bank Holiday Monday with friends walking around the lovely Yorkshire Wildlife Park and decided to stop off at Uproar! Play Barn before we got back in the car at the end of the day.
We ordered almost £20 worth of drinks and then proceeded to ask the staff how we get into the soft play. She informed us that we can't because they close in 5 minutes to prepare for a SEN session.
She did not feel obliged to inform us that we would not be allowed into the soft play before we ordered/paid for the drinks.
Absolutely shocking!
I understand there was a SEN session - that's fine. What isn't fine is taking an order for refreshments and then telling us we cannot enter soft play.
This review is based solely off that experience as I cannot comment on the...
Read moreFantastic play centre both children (aged 6 and 2 ½) had lots of fun. Plenty to do and absolutely loved the dinosaur theme. You can see the children from most of the seated areas in the play area. The only downside was the cleanliness in the seated areas - lots of food and drink stuff left on the tables that weren't cleared ready for the next group of people due in. The table we sat at was sticky and noticed parts of the play area that looked a little unclean and could do with a bit of a hoover and a wipe down. We can't comment on the food and drink as we didn't purchase anything here and ate next door in the...
