This park is clean and quiet park. There is a basket ball court situated next to a gated Play park. There is also nursury on the park and a Health Hub. The Health Hub is one of the best features of the park. I have attended fitness Classes here and they are very good and the staff are very polite and helpful it is also handy that there is an outside gym just outside of the the Health Hub for public use. I am unsure of all groups and classes offered at the hub. I am currently using the health hub for a nursury nurse group it is great for the little ones, there is a kitchen and tiolet facilities in the health hub. The park does also lead into netherton high street. There a number of benches across the park and plenty of bins. It is usually a very quiet and peaceful park. I would reccomend this park for kids and for a nice walk.

The lack of a dedicated parking zone for visitors has been a bone of contention since before the Hub was built ten years ago. There definitely is not '.......ample parking in local streets.'* Greaves Road is narrow and visitors who park for hours directly opposite gated driveways create obstructions that inconvenience local residents. A couple of clowns are using the park as a place to ride their motorbikes and there is a case for the council to act against drug activity. What was a peaceful area has been degraded by a lack of consideration being given to the quality of life of local residents by building on the park..

*As claimed in an original Council notice...

A lovely park that is very open with a children’s play area and an outdoor gym. There is also an activity centre with a free fitness instructor (Jon) that will arrange set activities for small and large groups. Booked in a group of 10 for the next 6 weeks for a fitness class. 1st class was a really pleasant experience which involved a tour walk along the cannels and around the park, the second part of the session involved – Dance boxing which took pace inside the activity centre. Felt that the instructor took care of our group and listened to what they intended to achieve from booking theses sessions with him. We are all looking forward to our...
