My friend and I brought our children here today. Both have complex needs but are very differently abled. There was something there for both of them to enjoy and to be able to access whether inside or outside. Some of the outside equipment is old and certainly in need of some TLC and some money investing into it and it would be much better if the outside was more wheelchair friendly as it was difficult going over alot of the uneven terrain with my Daughters wheelchair. But the kids loved it. I must say the staff were lovely, very helpful and seemed as if they genuinely liked being there and wanted to help when they could. There's a nice little soft play inside with some seating and tables. A small cafe that serves hot and cold drinks, crisps and chocolate. No hot or cold meals though. The sensory room is lovely with some decent quality equipment. Some outside seating is available too, although not much. It is fully enclosed, for those of you who have a runner. Only 1 door in and out and it is locked. Staff have to come and open the door for you to enter or leave which is fab for keeping the children safe. A large intimate care room for those who have disabled people with you which is rare and makes life so much easier for those of us who are carers to disabled people. Massive...
Read moreTook my twin 6yo boys here last week. They loved it. A large open area for them to explore safely. Make sure to take their wellies for the water play. The giant wooden climbing structure with slide is was a favorite of my boys.
There is a large indoor area for them to play too. There are lots of toys for them to play, most could do with replacing but you have to really admire what they've achieved here.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Unlike a lot of places they genuinely look happy to work there.
Parking isn't the easiest, the site is on a narrow street tucked at the back of an housing estate. Some food and drink are served, I didn't see a full menu so I cannot go into details. The coffee was nice though.

Read moreIts fantastic. I always take my kids here. Lots to explore. The only thing is it can get really busy sometimes and with lots of bigger children running around you can find little ones get trampled over sometimes 😅 but that's no fault of the centre. The workers are always super helpful. Extremely affordable and a fantastic community space. Some of the play equipment is a little run down but again the centre runs on little money and the local authority should plough a lot more money into spaces like this. For the price, it's a...
