I took my daughter to the ‘halloween’ fun day today or whatever it’s called only to have to leave with a 5 year old girl in floods of tears. We spent a good 40 minutes carving out a pumpkin, she was having loads of fun and was incredibly proud of her work. Once completed I asked the older gentleman who worked in there could we leave our pumpkin at the centre to be picked up later as I had some shopping to do. ‘No problem’ was his response. When I returned later the pumpkin had disappeared, I asked several memebers of staff where it had gone to be ultimately told it had been thrown in the bin. No apology, no real regret in the mans voice, just it had been put in the rubbish. The older man from earlier decided to respond with ‘well you will just have to do another one’ let me point out that the place closed in 10 minutes and I didn’t have time to do another one. I was angry at his response, I was angry that he’d thrown it away, I was angry that he’d made my 5 year old little girl CRY and I’m angry that he basically ran away into the other room to let other staff members offer me a small bag of sweets as some kind of apology. So there it is staff of 20 21 particularly the old, useless man who ‘works’ for you, you ruined my daughters day and you made her cry, a lot. I hope you’re proud of yourselves. You’re a joke and you’re food is rubbish, over priced, tat that takes 45 minutes to prepare 2 boring sandwiches (£9 for 2 sandwiches and a...

20-21 as a whole was very exciting and is a great place to visit as it had many activities for all ages to do. It appeals to anyone and has a very interesting take on art. It has many facilities to help people organise many events. The history of the church itself is interesting and mysterious. I mostly enjoyed the massive, colourful and beautiful jugs. This "Jug Choir" exhibition stood out to me as it was large, colourful and full of detail. They also had different human-like faces that made those jars unique even though they were related to each other.

I recommend 20-21 to anyone who wants to see something different or just wants to view new and...

Avoid this cafe. Called for lunch. It was cold in the cafe so we had to eat with coats on. The menu was all very similar very stodgy meals. Sandwich with roast potatoes and gravy for example. We all like a bit of stodge sometimes but there was no alternative. No salad of any kind. No veg. It felt like the menu was designed by a teenage boy. I ordered a prawn and mayo baguette (minus the roast potatoes and gravy). The ratio of mayo to prawns was about 5 to 1. Now I like mayonnaise but there was so much it was inedible. A bit of salad in the baguette would have taken the edge off the mayo. No-one came to ask if the...

It's a lovely place to visit for activities and to view exhibits. The staff are nice and friendly. Unfortunately the cafe tries to be "posh" and fails miserably. I ordered beans on toast. Was presented with a couple of spoonfuls of cheap beans and two slices of slightly tanned value bread and a blob of what can only be described as a solid petroleum by product. It's beans on toast for goodness sake! Definitely would not recommend the café.

Good display areas. Some interesting exhibitions. Update: 05/07/2022. Construction work going on around the building making it difficult to find the entrance. Also I managed to choose a time between exhibitions so not a vast amount to see. New exhibition to me, Entwined I think. About plants and their environment. 27/08/2024: new exhibition based on dogs. Some interesting stuff.

What an awesome place the arts centre is, I was there to entertain for a fabulous Halloween event as Jack Skellington, The Pumpkin King through Area51! A brilliant building, beautifully integrated into an old church building adjacent. Really great friendly staff and lots of energy for their event and the arts! It was a pleasure to be part of the day.
