We booked for 14 people, but as soon as other customers walked in, our table was being reduced in size, then wanting someone to squeeze people on the end wasn't going to work with large people. My Hubby bought me a glass of wine, that was given to someone else in our group. Then we where moved to another table as others were leaving, and we could now fit together on a table. It was further away from the door, so a little warmer. Naturally the prices have gone up, but we found the food quality had reduced, as those who had chips found they were half cooked, and some of their meats over cooked. We have visited a few times, but most of our group found issues this visit and I always find the place cold.

The garlic prawns, the calamari, the bruschetta with pork, the cheese croquettes, and the meatballs with cheese and it was all lovely, it was all just amazing, i am a big calamari lover and ive tried a good few and these were good but not the best I’ve tried but other than that, they tasted quite chip shop like, maybe that was like the oil they were done in I’m not sure but everything else was amazing !! Read moreFrom the minute the four of us entered the taverna we were made to feel welcome. The ambience was just right with that touch of a traditional Greek restaurant.
Each member of staff was friendly, informative and professional and made us feel comfortable. The service time was just about right - not rushed nor having to wait. Our choices of food (two starters and four different mains) did not disappoint either. The food was hot, tasty and plentiful.
This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
