A very pristine beach that runs for miles from the harbour , the sand is great for making castles. Parts nearer the harbour are dog free , but dog owners can walk for miles heading south. A promenade walk running parallel with the beach from the harbour south to the park and ride car park , a land train also uses this promenade. Toilets are available at the park and ride bus stop these are clean and fresh. Along this stretch are beach huts , paddling pools, beach ware shops a bar and cafe all on the promenade, heading further north into town is the lifeboat station with more public toilets and the spa complex. Parking charges apply at the park and ride car park, the machines take cash or card at a cost of £6.50 all day ( no hourly charges) it includes either a bus into town or the land train up to the spa (return). Bridlington south beach is a beach for everyone and dogs love it too. Life guards are on duty during seasonal peak times. Sorry no photos this time it was a cloudy sea mist day ,but I still enjoyed what this area...

We had such a wonderful day in Bridlington! The beaches here are absolutely stunning – long, wide, and perfect for a summer stroll. One thing to keep in mind is that the beach areas are divided, and dogs are not allowed on certain sections during the season. There’s even a £1,000 fine for breaking the rules, so it’s best to stick to the designated dog-friendly areas.

That said, there’s still plenty of space for everyone – the beach is so huge that you’ll easily find your own perfect spot, whether you’re here with family, friends, or your four-legged companions.

A walk along the harbour is a must – the views are lovely, and the atmosphere is full of seaside charm. And of course, no trip to Bridlington would be complete without enjoying some delicious fish and chips by the water. 🐟🍟

We truly recommend this place for both adults and children. If you want to see more of our day, check out our video from Bridlington on our YouTube channel – it’s the perfect way to capture the magic of this beautiful...

Went into the Splash Zone with the hubby and 2 children. Lovely place with great slides! Reasonably priced as well. After that we went for a walk along the prom calling in the gift shops etc along the way. Bought some dinner from Papas chippy (curry sauce was amazing 👏) and ate them on the benches in the harbour. To finish off we went on the fairground rides along the prom. Bought some tokens at the start of the promenade but by the time we had walked to the other end (of the same bit of promenade by the way) the rides had changed and you could only use their silver tokens so the rest we had left were useless as we had already been on what we wanted at the start. That bit was a rip off and we ended up giving tokens we had left away to another family as we'd had enough by then and certainly wasn't going to throw away anymore money. It didn't spoil our day though but it did leave a nasty taste in our mouths that we'd...

Bridlington is a great seaside town on the east coast of Yorkshire, England. It's not as busy as some other seaside resort but has amenities and entertainment for the children. The beach is made of sand and free from litter. On the south side of the Dock is public paddling area in front of the beach (chlorinated). On street aioarking can also be found on the front at £6.20 for 24 hours. Two car parks are also available but they are very small. The sea front has well maintained free public toilets and pleanty of shops, cafes and restaurants. The North side of the Dock has a number of amusement arcades and a fun fair for the children. It also has a number of pubs and bars. You can take a short Pirate boat trip from the Dock out to see (recommended) at only £3 each. All in all a lovely seaside town. I would definitely recommend a visit if you have children.

What can I say never been to Bridlington before . I had this poseption another Blackpool dirty rotten . How wrong was I .I take every word back its a beautiful place . Beach is excellent and I was impressed how clean it was everywhere. I watched how people had respect putting rubbish in the bins and they were everywhere. Fish and chips were great and the shopping town was clean and vibrant too .parking was a good price . Please people I recommend Bridlington to visit you will not be disappointed. I particularly like the sea cadets on the beach checking for litter and picking it up . Before I went to Bridlington I visited North landing first for a few hours .wow I was taking back how beautiful this place is . I was blown away by it .you have to walk in the old smugglers caves . I had a great day out visiting both places .
