If you enjoy cold, dirty environments, then Kids Kingdom might be for you. Sadly, it’s not the place it used to be. My husband and I both have fond childhood memories of visiting, but over the years, it has gone dramatically downhill, and I can’t imagine it improving under the current management.
One of the most disappointing changes is the Jelly Mountain ball pit. It seems like most of the balls have been removed or halved in number, making it unsafe and unappealing. Additionally, the areas that were once supervised to ensure fun and safety are now left unchecked. On our recent visits, we noticed a lack of staff oversight, which resulted in unsafe play.
For instance, my tiny toddler was knocked over by an older child running wild. The under-5s area is regularly overrun with children far older than five, which makes it unsuitable for little ones. Older kids frequently speed down the small slide meant for toddlers, often knocking them over. To make matters worse, the area is filled with broken, hard toys, which defeats the purpose of a soft play centre where children are supposed to play with minimal risk of injury.
We like to give places a fair chance, but after several disappointing visits, we’ve decided we won’t be returning. It’s a shame to see a once-loved venue deteriorate so much, and unfortunately, we can’t recommend...

Read moreMe , my wife and 2 kids paid £17 for a 2 hour slot on a Sunday. The place was very busy ( which I suspected it would be) however the seating area was filthy. Food all over the floor, floor all sticky and tables were crammed in ontop of eachother. Also one of the women's toilets was blocked up solid with poo.
I was very surprised to see adults drinking alcohol there too. Cans of fosters and bottles of wine on a table being guzled by the group of parents. My wife thought they actually sold alcohol there too. I can't understand why. This is a children's play centre, where the parents can go round with their kids if they want to....I don't want to my kids in there with people who have been drinking.
The play area wasn't great compared to many others my kids have played in. Alot of empty areas used to take up space. Apart from Jelly mountian, there wasn't alot that seemed very exciting for them.
Last time I visited this place I myself was still a child. It has changed massively...and unfortunately I don't think it's an improvement. Fairly pricey, not the cleanest. Alcohol on premises and jam packed in the seating area.
I will not be returning I'm afraid. It looked very...
