Yummy — Local services in Great Britain

I phoned at 17.01 asked how long delivery was to which I got the reply how long do you want it to be. I asked again will it be within half an hour or I will come to collect. Was assured it will be with me within half an hour. 45 minutes later I phoned as my partner was leaving for work soon after so asked where the food was and the lady said I'd ordered from just eat and I'd had it delivered already and then hung up the phone. When I phoned back and I explained I'd phoned she then told me my delivery had just left and then hung up the phone again. 15 minutes later i phoned when my partner was leaving for work and got told that my address is hard to find. When I've had deliveries from here on many occasions and she hung up again to me. Top it off my food was stone cold The lady I spoke to was so rude and I won't order from...

4th time ordering from this place and 4 times cold… Staff are rude and very disrespectful either shouting down the phone when trying to find a situation to the problem or just saying we can’t help it we are busy then putting the phone down … I’ve used a lot of Chinese take aways and by far hand down this one sucked the most !!!

Going by the other reviews and the response from yummys on the reviews I await a response with something along the lines of it’s my fault…. As from what they are like on the phone it’s all lies and false hopes I.e your delivery is just leaving the phone 1 hour later where is the food phone back up of sorry it’s just leaving now …… false hopes and dreams this place …. No idea how thay are still in business Anyway that’s my view……

I ordered here back in December. They delivered the wrong dish, I called them up and they said they would bring me the correct dish. They then called back 10 minutes later and said their car has broken down (not very convincing) but would take £5 off my next order and it’s on my ‘account’ and then she literally hung the phone up on me as I was saying thanks. So I call for my next order and the same woman answers the phone. Tells me that she doesn’t remember telling me that, I said ‘but you told me the discount is on my account’ and she said ‘no don’t remember and not giving you money off’ and hangs up on me again! This woman should not be answering your phones! She’s an embarrassment. Absolute waste of time, bad customer service and just outright liars. Food average too,...
