A great place to go for a walk, feed the ducks and head to the park. On the weekends there is a great crepe van that serves sweet and savoury crepes along with drinks. There is free parking but can see it could get busy in the summer months, there is parking nearby in residential streets if needed. There are two disabled parking spots also. The park has a little toddler one and opposite an older childrens one. Tucked away among a great sized bit of field. Great for a lovely walk with little ones. There is pavement all the way round so suitable for prams and wheelchair. If you want to do a very long walk, you can also exit savernake park towards the main road (not the car park bit) and keep to the left. For the children there is a swing park to start them off. Then you can go into the park proper. There is a large lake and we walked around it. Has a few nice wooden sculptures dotted around and there's a children's playground just around the corner with some newish and modern apparatus. The only blight is there's not a lot of parking and there are a few nasty-looking overflow pits which are an eyesore.
