A great place to go for a walk, feed the ducks and head to the park. On the weekends there is a great crepe van that serves sweet and savoury crepes along with drinks. There is free parking but can see it could get busy in the summer months, there is parking nearby in residential streets if needed. There are two disabled parking spots also. The park has a little toddler one and opposite an older childrens one. Tucked away among a great sized bit of field. Great for a lovely walk with little ones. There is pavement all the way round so suitable for prams and wheelchair. If you want to do a very long walk, you can also exit savernake park towards the main road (not the car park bit) and keep to the left. If you keep walking for about 20 - 30 ?mins you'll come out to a main road and see Lily Hill park. This walk is pram and wheelchair friendly until you get to Lily hill...

Savernake Park is an excellent location for adults and children. I took my gra ddaughter who is 10 years old and we had a very enjoyable afternoon there. For the children there is a swing park to start them off. Then you can go into the park proper. There is a large lake and we walked around it. The only disappointing thing was the number of plastic bottles that had been discarded with no thought to the fish or animals that live in the park. I would give it an...

This is a nice enough place to stroll around although it's not as big as it looks on the map! Has a few nice wooden sculptures dotted around and there's a children's playground just around the corner with some newish and modern apparatus. The only blight is there's not a lot of parking and there are a few nasty-looking overflow pits which are an eyesore. One very nice feature is AL's Crepe Cafe - a mobile snackery - situated by the car park! Worth a visit for a...

Usually very quiet, polite dog walkers, families taking gentle strolls. Can be very pretty in sunshine and at the beginning of autumn. Pond, is exactly that dirty pond water but every May gosling's make their first appearance. They are beautiful to see. Often a couple of swans make the pond their summer home, beautiful again but hostile. Only let down occasional dog mess in the grass area. Kids section enjoyed by toddlers up to around 10 year olds.

relaxing place, though may be busy sometines, its a small lake with birds, swans and their cubs, there is a free car park, though may be muddy sometimes, the water is dirty, there is constant noise from a car behind the pancakes kiosk, i dont understand why this noise is allowed nearby the animals...

Lovely park, with things to do for the kiddies and a pancake van with delicious and yummy pancakes sweet and savory. Park is very clean, quiet and perfect for an afternoon walk and feeding the ducks.
