Waltham Abbey Gardens — Attraction in Epping Forest

Lovely historic church, and then what we thought was lovely gardens around the back of church... a winding stream with ducks and swans. Park was strewn with litter and alcohol bottles... some bottles still had the gin inside, and then this pile of rubbish just dumped in the trees....such a shame. Lovely local grounds to walk around.

I work from home, so I use the picnic benches at lunch time to sit at and get some fresh air while eating lunch.

Some days very peaceful, other days can be a bit busier. But all in all, defo a nice place to take 30 mins out of the day to relax before going back to work.

Lunch is usually from Gregs!

The only negative is that dog owners don’t always keep their dogs on...
