Played here yesterday. When we first arrived the old chap seemed surprised to see us, didnt say much but found our booking and got us on our way, he was accommodating when we put in a last minute request for buggies.

The course was lovely, well laid out and very good condition. The greens were fantastic and all very different. Consistently faster than other courses in the area.

As we approached the halfway house we were very pleased to see a sign saying open.. However the chap inside explained that it was actually closed. (he was just cleaning up after the weekend) But, he then offered to pop the kettle on for a much needed coffee and even threw a few pies and sausage rolls together for us.

I'm assuming he was a committee man, past captain maybe. He was a proper gent and a credit to your club. For 5 young (ish) lads from Leeds who may not have got that kind of reception elsewhere, it was very welcome and appreciated.

Please pass on our thanks, we will...

A very warm welcome and lovely days golf had at Flamborough Golf Club. Considering the current weather conditions, the fairways were in decent condition, being well cut and generally wide with a first cut and some limited rough for real wayward shots. Well maintained greens that will accept a nicely hit pitch shot. The Greens a little slow as you would expect for seaside/links course where wind can be a factor but generally were true running. Some interesting slopes on some of the greens. Bunkers were well maintained and luckily only found one. Plus numerous water hazards make for some challenging approach shots. Only downside was that the Bar wasn't open early Monday evening but overall a thoroughly enjoyable visit and would recommend anybody...

First time at Flamborough Head golf course, had a great round, made a nice change from playing the usual parkland courses I would normally play. Got lucky with the weather as it was cool and just a little breezy. I expect it can be much tougher when the wind and rain are hitting, but today the course was playing pretty easy. A couple of long holes, but the rest are all within reach. The greens were great the views were lovely. Everyone we met seemed friendly. Would be happy to recommend to any mid to high handicapper if your in the area. Probably a little too easy if you're a better player though, but still worth it if you haven't played these kind seafront...

A superb club and course. Everybody was so friendly and the course was in great condition. There had a been thunderstorm the night before and torrential rain but the fairway and greens were all drained and great. The course is tough with the wind at times but there’s some character features like the old white tower and the war bunker!! Some tough holes and some rewarding ones. Especially some of the par 3 and par 5’s. Easy to book ahead if you’re a non-member and we travelled up and booked in advance a few months for our trip. Loved it and would definitely go again!!
