No thought about access for wheelchair users. My wife called and asked if they were wheelchair accessible and they said they were, but could not provide activities for wheelchair users. So not really accessible at all. We decided to meet with others to take the kids tubing. There was only one disabled parking space and no proper route to the centre from the car park. My wife went to the centre to ask about how I could get in. A young man opened a gate to a very steep and uneven slope that we only just managed because we're strong. We had to move the tubes off the path because it hadn't occurred to him to make room for my chair. The family thought the tubing was OK, but not very exciting. The matting is very aged and tired. I doubt we'll ever come back. I certainly won't. I'm going sit-skiing in Italy next month, pity I can't get any practice in here.

Great facility to have locally. We attended a beginners lesson for snowboarding here. The lesson was great, very relaxed. Alan- the instructor- was excellent. Very reassuring and patient. The children enjoyed themselves immensely. Great cafe/bar/restaurant area. In which, the coffee was excellent. On a side note. The party doing the "tubing" session seemed to be having a great time, too. Might be worth a try... Absolutely would recommend the place, based on our experience so far. Edit. We can't stop coming back! Great instructors and such a welcoming place. Definitely retaining its prior 5 stars from me!

Took a couple of little ones here for a tubing session. The ski slope has obviously seen better days (I remember when it was first constructed!) but is still perfectly serviceable. The tubes themselves look brand new. The instructor, Callum, was great: calm, helpful and good at managing young people including nervous first timers. The bar area was clean and tidy and not too expensive.

Extremely unhappy with our experience. We booked for a family of 4 for a ski lesson. On arrival we were putting on our equipment and the instructor told us he was going on out but didn’t tell us where to go. Once we had worked out how to fit all of our equipment we headed on out but then realised the place was quite large so couldn’t find him. We then had to go back to reception and ask them, who then took us to him at the furthest slope away. My partner then requested helmets for at least our two young children which we assumed would have and should have been supplied. The class was already quit large with around ten people plus us with one instructor so he didn’t have time to spend with each person. I then took it upon myself to remove my own skis and try and help my children and partner up the hill. I think another employee seen that the instructor was struggling. The que up the slope was a long wait for your turn and people were fallen down left and right. Some just ended up having ago with no instruction as we were waiting so long. My son got upset after his one and only go as the other instructor told him to do a snowplough even though he has never been explained what one is. It was just chaos and realised the class was way to large and we were just having to stand around. It seems the centre just wanted the money and didn’t care about providing the service nor the duty of care of safety equipment for our children. We will now try mendip ski...

Completed my first ever day of skiing here today (Saturday 15th October 2022) under the learn to ski pack for the 6 hour lesson. All the staff at the ski centre are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. A special thanks for Terry our group instructor for the day, very knowledgable guy taught us very well and ensured us that we're progressing quicker than other were able to go onto learning more techniques whilst the others had another instructor assist them. Terry was very encouraging throughout the day and gave personal advice/tips for each of us in the group, he was also happy to answer my many questions after the lesson had completed. A burger with chips and drinks were included in the cost of the learn to ski day and were very tasty.

As per Terry's recommendation I'll be back soon to complete the ski pack 3.

I was recommended to use Gloucester ski by a friend of mine and can certainly echo that recommendation to anyone which wants to...
