The Three Oaks — Restaurant in Gloucester

A 60th Birthday party was held at this venue on the 10th of August 2024...well I was absolutely disgusted with the way they disrespected the lady who's party it was,also the guest that attended the party was left in absoulute shock lights came on at 11.45 last orders did not even get mentioned, I asked for a glass of tonic water i was refused, the young lady said point blank no people's throat was dry an no drinks were being served, at 11.45 really we need to be very careful where we are holding gatherings wakes birthdays etc customer service was 0...What ever reason they had was not valid...People were on their best behaviour very poor show...I will never recommend anywhere else apart from the jamaican club we just keep getting short changed in a lot of ways it's only going to get worse and we only have ourselves to blame...

Lovely big pub! Service for food was excellent (but to be fair it was not busy when we arrived). Be warned that some of the seating for food was rather high so not suitable for the elderly or those with mobility issues. I don't know if you can pre-book tables & they didn't answer our telephone calls to check availability of seating (& wasn't due to being busy as there was hardly any customers there when we arrived 5 minutes after phoning them!!) Food was well above average for a pub of this type & reasonably priced. Their chips were especially good!! Would highly recommend this pub in future. Plenty of large screen TV's dotted around the pub for the sports fanatics! If they'd have answered the phone would've given them...

On arrival no one to greet us even though we booked a table. No menu on our table and No instruction how to order. We had to approach the bar area for drinks and to order food which we did not feel very Covid safe. A 90 minute wait for food. However the staff who brought the food to our table were friendly and helpful. The food was average as in every other pub that serves food. The refurb was a pleasant surprise. All in all the 3 oaks needs more staff, waitress service to be Covid safe and a brush up on customer service, it would then be a nice family place to eat. It has a nice outside play area...
