It looks different - 21 years have passed but if you walk all the way up, it's where Hermione threatened Draco and then you can walk the path down that Harry, Ron and Hermione walked down and talked about her attending two classes at the same time and then somewhere was the spot where the hut used to be. It's not very easily recognisable. I walked all the way up to where Hermione threatened Draco (there was a little campfire there, June 2025) and thought this was where the hut was but I was mistaken. Really compare the views to the pictures of the hut on Google if you want to find the right spot. More plants have grown and I think some trees are new as well. If you're all the way up, just walk down a bit and you'll be where the hut was! It's a muddy way though if you come during the rainy season. And a bit difficult so you have to be somewhat in shape but my grandma and I managed 😊 one picture is from all the way up and the other where I...

As a massive Harry Potter fan this was a big one ticked off from the bucket list. It is a shame there is no hut there but once you get to the spot you can just use your imagination to envision it.

It’s a couple of minutes drive from the main road (A82) . There is parking at the Clachaig Inn but some people use lay-bys further up. From there I t’s a short walk to the spot, you’ll need to be steady on your feet as it can be marshy as well as slightly steep.

If you’re heading to the Harry Potter bridge, then definitely stop here on the way to tick ✅ this off...

It’s a very short hike, you start on a designated trail and then there’s a dirt trail branch off shortly after which is unmarked. It’s a dirt pathway, I would say it’s only steep if you don’t have the right footwear. Very buggy though. When you get to the clearing it’s quite steep if you want to get the same view point from the movie scenes. I can’t believe they ran down that hill. There’s no hut but just use your imagination like you did when you read the books. So neat to see in person. Parking was a few spots along the...

This was an amazing find while on our holidays and an absolute must for any harry potter fan! The only reason for my 4*s is that the hut itself has been taken away to stop vandalism however you can still see where everything was and it literally makes you feel as if you are on set! There is a little pub at the bottom of the road for food and drinks and a lovely little river if you prefer to take a picnic and take in the breathtaking views.

I find it bewildering that some below reviewers actually think that the set would still be there 20 years later? Of course the hut isn't there. But for a fan it is very obvious where the hut once sat and was an incredible experience for me. Would recommend to fans for sure! I parked on the road next to the nearby pub. Really quick and easy walk up from there. There is a good map on AllTrails if you want to be sure.

Great little stop off for Harry Potter fans. Little bit of an anticlimax as soon as you crest the top of the hill you are on the spot where Hagrids hut was so no searching. A good way to kill 30 mins. It was quiet when we were there but I’d imagine it’s quite hard to get the photos you want on a warm dry day with lots of people there. Nevertheless, great to tick off the list.
