Read moreLoch Morlich has so much of what nature has to offer in one amazing spot. On a recent trip to the Cairngorms National Park, my brother insisted on a visit to Loch Morlich beach. He was amazed at there being a beach so far inland and we were both blown away when we arrived.
There is a fairly large carpark on site as well as a toilet block which appeared to be regularly attended by staff. There is a short and easy path through the surrounding Glenmore Forest straight onto the beautiful sandy beach. There are lots of beach and forest trails around the location, depending on your ability. On the beach there is a cafe and watersports centre that proved popular during our visit and there was good seating both in and outside the cafe.
