The price of admission, £20 each is just too bitter. I couldn’t enjoy it at all. You could get the same experience walking about any village that’s by the coast for free.
It’s basic a tiny town square with a woodland walk next door. The buildings all feel fake (because in essence they are) and the live acts are unintelligible because of the speaker system used. The coffee and snack prices are a little high but not unreasonable, and then you remember entrance cost, and you’re not hungry anymore. A lot of cafe chairs are plastic too, not nice to sit on at all.
The path layout is weird because it’s not a naturally formed town, one part stuck in my head the most. A ugly concrete ramp has been built to get over a wall instead of just haing a gap in the wall. Really strange choice to fix a very simple problem.
Maybe I just missed the point of the place, but at the cost per head it not worth discovering it. Maybe the place means something to the older generation but anyone 40 and below just skip it.
Parking is free, just remember it’s £20 per person to go in.
Access was easy, just remember £20 per person isn’t easy on the wallet.
You can get a wheelchair around most of the park, some paths are steep, like the ticket price.
I’ve added photos so you don’t need to go look at it....
