Nice place to visit for a few hours but not an all day thing, it is not as big as it looks online and by photos, some lovely building and places to eat. I have a big problem with this place though, I booked online and paid for a disabled ticket and 1 carer ticket, on arrival with a queue behind me I presented my tickets only to be asked in a very load voice, Have you got your Blue Badge ? Well yes I did have it but being parked in a disabled bay it was on display in my car, so I shown the lady the document it says online you must show, My PIP certificate, it was on my phone, again in a very load voice she shouts yes that is your PIP , yes just tell the coach load behind me. Next it was where is your carers card ? well carers cards are not an actual thing, yes you can pay online places to issue you one, very easy to get apart from you have to pay for them, so I shown her my card that clearly shows my needs. She shouts out so what is that then ? and I had to stand there and explain that is me in the picture with my name DOB and this here show I need a plus1 I require help with medication and so on. What a start to what should of been a nice morning out. I think some staff could do with training on disability awareness and...

We stayed in the motorhome area with our 6.4m campervan, which is completely off grid. There are no off grid spots so we paid for power, toilets (new), showers (also new), Blackwater, grey water, fresh water, TV, WiFi (patchy - and useful because mobile data is non-existent). There are 3 options depending on the size of pitch you need - £55/£65/£75. All pitches include 2x adult tickets (£17 each at the time of writing). This is a LOT of money to be close to the village but if you want to stay late and enjoy the village when most people have left, you can. I'm sad that the buildings aren't as well kept as they could be with paint peeling and some buildings looking rather damp. You can't go inside the buildings as they're holiday cottages - there are a number of cafés and shops and you can obviously go into these. And I'm sad that the grounds and the Japanese/Chinese gardens aren't looked after. Anyway, I knew the prices (I did expect a £55 pitch, but there were only £75 pitches available, so that's what we had to take), so it was my choice. But I probably won't come again. I've seen what there was to see, and it wasn't well cared for. It's a shame because it could be better with some love and...

Portmeirion is a beautiful and colourful village — truly a picturesque location that’s perfect for those Instagram-worthy shots. It has a unique charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped out of the UK and into a Mediterranean getaway. If you’re in the North Wales area, I’d recommend visiting at least once. That said, I do think the entrance fee is a bit steep for what the village offers. You’ll need around 2–3 hours to explore the full village, including a lovely walk down to the sea, which is a highlight in itself. There’s plenty of parking available, and toilet facilities are on-site. There are a couple of restaurants where you can grab lunch, though be prepared for slightly higher prices. There’s also a gelato shop, offering some refreshing treats — perfect for a warm day. We were lucky with the weather during our visit, so I took lots of photos and videos. The sunshine really brought the village to life and made the whole experience feel like a holiday abroad. Overall, it was a fun summer day out with family, full of vibrant scenery and...

We heard this was a pretty village to walk round. We arrived and thought, wow , free parking ! We went to walk round the village but then found out it's £20 EACH to get in. Wtaf. We didn't realise it was a tourist attraction. We paid and went in. Well, it's like a small Alton towers or small thorpe park but with no rides. There are some coffee shops and an ice cream shop. And a small walk to do. If you want a nice walk there are hundreds more to do round this area, which don't cost £20pp. I just don't get it. Someone said 'the prisoner' was filmed here. I'm 50 and don't know what that is. I really really wouldnt recommend this place..it's just bizarre. And the electric chargers are useless too. Spent ages trying to get them to work - I think you need to download the app and add £10 minimum before you use them with no chance of getting any money back when you don't get £10 worth of charge Btw - we were here for less than 45 mins.. We had an ice cream and we did both walks
