What can I say? This is one of the most amazing walking trails I had ever been on. I completed it in 7 days and the views were fantastic! I hiked solo but you are never really alone because there are lots of people walking. It was great meeting so many nice people from all over the world. The weather was sunny and cloudy and rain 1 day only so be prepared. The scenery was always changing and it was nice to have accommodations every night or you can camp. If you hike this trail or any other make sure your feet are ready. Walk at least a minimum of 10 miles a few days a week for a few months in the same shoes you will walk in so you won’t get blisters. I did and my feet were fine. This trail is a must do you won’t be sorry.

Amazing trail for families and beginners. I did this trail after finishing the Skye Trail as I had some time left, and the trail provides plenty of flexibility to stop and take a bus back if needed. The trail is friendly, provides amazing views, and is quite doable. When wildcamping, try to avoid to wildcamp in the forest area in kinlochmore when you got off the mountains as it is packed with midges. There is a campsite inside Kinlochleven which saves you the trouble from those midges, or you can camp up on the mountain which I would recommend. There is however no nearby streams up on the mountain.

A small part of West Highald Way between Kinlochleven and Fort William. The old military road and around 12 miles of it. Fantastic views, can be hard going so be prepared. Great for a e-bike as it made very light work of the hills so highly recommended. Enjoy your time in the Highlands

Amazing views, the route is generally not difficult but VERY long which makes it difficult if You're not prepared. Be prepared to end every day late in the afternoon with sore feet. Midges become worse the further you go, so I highly recommend trying a spray or net against them. Not a lot of places to stop in the later days so come prepared. There is an option to split some days. We did it in 7 but 8-9 is also possible. Book accomodations a year in advance if you want to stay in the...
