Lovely location on the WHW overlooking the loch and slopes opposite. However the bar seems to take its location for granted and is rather mismanaged. Kitchen didn’t open until gone 2 for no reason other than “chef is not ready” and no timeline was given. Food was spot on once it arrived though. Unfortunately one of the staff just didn’t seem up to it and he had no idea what was going on from the moment we walked through the door. Most drinks and plenty of food items were unavailable as the order hadn’t arrived yet which again seems poor planning. Atmosphere was also missing, with only an intermittent playlist. Must have caught the staff on an off-night. Our young waiter was very flat and seemed minimally interested in us or his job in general. In fairness we hadn't had a reservation and we were seated out back instead of in the pub with the view, but we felt as if we were a hindrance and an afterthought. A few others were seated near us and seemed to have a similarly poor experience, quite disappointing for a Saturday night.
