We absolutely loved the Museum! We love how friendly the staff are and how welcoming they are!
They were extremely helpful with showing us how the interactive pieces in the museum worked like the example of how the boat lift worked on the model and also an example of pressure with coal to show a video of how the boat lift worked more effectively.
I feel like i learnt so much about the building of Foxton Locks and felt very lucky to be able to walk round after learning about it.
I would definitely say head to the Museum first before walking round the Locks to understand more about why and what happens with the Process of going through each lock.

A knowledgeable tour guide of the incline plane is given on the hour as well. The gift shop is well stocked and all the staff are friendly .
