Waterworks Museum - Hereford — Attraction in Hereford

Well worth a visit! Bit of a shame its only open Tuesday and Sunday but bearing in mind it's run by volunteers, not surprising. An absolute wealth of information and people who are more than willing to stand and chat about the various pumps.

Make a beeline for the café. THE best Victoria sandwich I've EVER had! All thr cakes are homemade and it shows! Not at all expensive to get in and an easy way to while away both a wet and dry day. Plenty of interactive exhibits to keep younger (& older!)...

Fantastic day out with a 6 & 4 yr old! Staff were all lovely, no charge for children under 16 and only £5 per adult for all day entry. Really good mixture of things to look at and also things to press/pull/pump for the little (and big) ones. Really lovely setup and I'm pleased that we were able to support them. An interesting museum, especially on steam days when the engines are working. There are a few interactive exhibits to play with. Most of the museum is accessible to people with mobility issues although the ground outside is uneven. The only downside was the catering.
