when i moved to Herefordshire this was the first pub i visited, it was welcoming and comfortable, a splendid garden and as much or as little company as you need ( a basic pub requirement in my book) the staff are freindly and smile , efficient and well presented. o and a good selection of beers ales and ciders ( stowford press on tap )
it has ben sensetively modernised and is open and airy, there is also a .well, a sitting room by the fire which is cosy too.
A varied mix of the most excellent people, both punters and staff ,frequent the Brit , some are both important and interesting i am lucky to call some of them friends and though i no longer live so close i still consider the Brit my 'local' it is a Local pub but dont let thatput you off i am not really local (being from that London) and here i am , feeling at home
