Read moreA very scenic place for a quick tour. The beach was clean. Nature reserve beside the beach also nice a stroll and picnic. Also the high cliff castle and the canteen beside the castle is excellent for lazy afternoon. Canteen was not seen any hot food menu but lots of cake and ice creams to choose from. Canteen has clean Toilets. The steamer point also has public toilet and shower. Car parking cost was £3 for two hours via pay by phone app. There was enough space when I visited but parking was surely limited. I saw a sign for overflow parking area nearby. Lots of beach hug on the beach front probably can be hired. Cafe facilities were there on the beachfront seems popular...
Read moreGreat place for walking including adults and children of all ages; pathways are wide and flat and can accommodate mobility of wheelchairs. There is a cafe in the castle serving snacks and hot/cold drinks. The castle was re-opened in March 2018 following a big refurbishment and is well worth a visit - small charge for entry. A great family day out, no matter what the weather - fully recommend this...
