Absolutely fascinating railway line which makes you feel like traveling back in time.
The stations and rolling stock (coaches, steam and diesel) looks amazing and kept in good shape. They still use old signals and the token block systems to keep the railway safe.
Wonderful people with a great passion for the old!!!
Be sure to visit the shed in Highley or one of the many delicious looking cafés, pubs or restaurants at the stations.
A wonderful trip through time along the river Severn which will never get boring. Very worthwhile a visit (even for a detour).

The place is kept clean and tidy and is run efficiently by its volunteer staff who are friendly and knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have.
