I'm not a biker (yet). I took my dad, who was visiting from South Africa. He rides a Triumph Tiger 800XC (I think) He was very impressed. We did the factory tour aswell. Incredible and interesting at the same time. You can't take photos for obvious reasons but get to see many incredibly interesting things. Even for someone not au fait with motorcycle engineering, or any kind of engineering, for that matter. There's a section where you see the 3d printer they use. That blew me away. And their paint section. Wow!
The visitor centre is really cool. Small but does the trick. There were 2 bikes that you could sit on. Daniel Craig's personal motorbike used in one of his Bond films was on display. Aswell the actual bike that Steve McQueen rode in The Great Escape.
If you're a new or 'old' biker, I highly recommend the visitor centre and the factory tour.
I left really wanting a Triumph motorbike. Now to get a licence.
NOTE: If you're coming up to do the tour and the National Motorcycle Museum (about 35 mins away) on the same trip, do the Triumph visitor experience / factory tour first. As they give you a flyer for half price for the National Motorcycle Museum. Which is well worth it to. I think, easily 500 bikes on show there. 5 halls. Absolutely amazing I've done a review...
Read moreI came from France to visit the Triumph factory in Hinckley and it was a fantastic experience. Firstly, the staff is amazingly nice and friendly. I booked online, the planning changed, and Danny did his best to find me a solution according to my flight tickets. And, on the day of the visit, the tour guide was also perfect, very informative and funny, taking the time to explain everything and to answer to all our questions. Secondly, the tour itself was great. I also visited Ducati factory in Bologna and BMW Motorrad factory in Berlin, and Triumph was definitely the most comprehensive tour (this being said, all those factories are worth the visit). There is also a nice exhibition of old and modern Triumphs and a cafe where I watched the MotoGP final race of 2024. By the way, the Triumph Factory Tour allows you visit the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham at a reduced fare, and it's also an enjoyable experience. I warmly recommend the Triumph Factory Tour, specially if you are, like me, a Triumph owner! Many thanks to the Bloor family and all the staff for opening their house to all the...
Read moreAbsolutely fantastic experience today at the factory tour. Our guide, Dave was both funny and very informative on everything we saw.
We went on a day where there are no workers in so we got to see everything without disturbing anyone which was great.
The things you get to see are mind blowing, process of making things from scratch, 3d printing of parts, prototypes and so much more.
My initial tour was cancelled but somehow I was able to fit in with another group later in the day thanks to Matt, who honestly goes above and beyond in terms of customer service. Not only did he fit me in to a different tour but after the tour chatted to me and my partner about my love for triumph and everything. I got a couple fantastic keepsakes from Matt too which I'll keep in my collection.
Thank you so so much, this was an amazing birthday present just made even better by two of your members of staff.
I will be back just as soon as I can.
P.s photos can be taken in exhibition next to cafe but absolutely not on the factory tour. Please remember and...
