Never again. Went in 2017 fantastic light display. This year was absolutely rubbish. Lights show was be a joke, a few Xmas trees lights that changed colour, a projector that shone some snow flakes on the front of the big house a 3 Xmas song that were played. Boring , rubbish total waste of money. Food, cold poor selection, and very very expensive. Over £2 for a child's portion of peas or baked beans. DISSCUSTING and DISGRACEFUL Couldn't take the children to see Santa we were told you needed to book up for Santa back in September. We were on a Stewart,/Luckets coach tour, we were led to believe the train ride to Santa was included. The rhino ride was closed due to bad weather. It was dull and damp, the maze was closed because it was getting dark!!! We had gone to see a light show so you would have thought they would have lit the maze some how. As it was the first time we went. Never had this trouble when we went in 2017. That was magical. Just goes to show who had the fore sight. Not the same since lord Bath past away. He knew how to please his visitors RIP. Would I recommend going NO, NO, NO BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER. Sent a email to complain to the Stewart/,Luckets Coach tour company, which we have been on many tours with over the years when it be was just Stewart's Coach tours. But Luckets didn't even give thier driver the reference code to do the Safari part of our trip, so this meant we had to hang around and waste an hour and 20 mins until the driver could contact someone at the office to get the code. The whole trip cost me ,£245.00, for 2 children and ,2 adults. To have to disappoint the children on every thing we hoped to see and do. TOTAL DISASTROUS,...

Longleat is built with so much fun and laughter, they have such to see and do! At this point they were getting ready for the Christmas lights and father Christmas! I recommend seeing the reindeers and as you drive round you can get to feed the deers for a £1....bargain the children will have so much fun, it's a perfect day out especially if you love animals majority of the animals run around free it's a beautiful thing to see! I also recommend the monkeys but watch out for your car, they aren't qualified mechanics!! But it's so funny as they run and hang from your car, there is a ranger at the end of the monkey drive through, so you won't be able to leave with more monkeys than you arrived with..lol Anyway I recommend this highly & whoever reads this and experience longleat I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as I do! Entry price is very reasonable but you can't book on the day you go if you book online if you intend to go you can still arrive and book...

The hedge maze was beautiful and a lot of fun. I enjoyed it immensely. However, I feel a lot of the photos online are misleading. You should know what you're getting in to. The hedge maze is a single slightly disused attraction in a cheesy kids theme park. You have to pay about 30 for an adult ticket to get in to the park.

The whole maze is maybe about 1/2 an acre in size. The photos make it look massive, and while it IS impressive, it's also fairly contained. The bridges and high tower you see online have been replaced with a single plywood-construction tower with only one story. It's just not as classy as the photos make it out to be.

That said, it's still an excellent maze with plenty of twists and turns. Going through it is FUN. We spent several hours in it, getting deliberately lost. Just be aware that it's attached to a theme park, with all the cheap monygrabbing you'd expect...

The hedge maze is great ! So well designed it's possible to spend ages walking round it. There is a sign up saying the average time on the maze is 45 minutes. Me and the boss were here years ago and thought it would be good to bring the kids to Longleat for the day. Unfortunately my kids have a homing pigeon sense of direction and we were out in under 8 minutes !!!! 😡

Festival of light at Longleat was absolutely brilliant, we went into the safari for the day and then spent the evening in the grounds looking at all the amazing Roald Dahl themed areas. Highly recommended.. this is the second time we've been to their festival of light (last time it was Greek mythology and that was ah maze ing!)

fun maze with satisfying completion and easy exit however the vantage point "finish line" is near the exit so most of the maze is left undiscovered and empty also path is very muddy following rainfall - especially towards the vantage point
