Extensive range of rural historic items and local records. Wonderful home made food in cafe..very reasonable prices. Tractors and Farm impliments.blacksmith forge.other local industry items and shops..a complete farm cottage with all firniture and fittings. Admission varies adult £4-50 max, sometimes free..no charge to use cafe. Wonderful great grand fen fair Sun 20th May. Lots of stalls and the food was excellant and reasonable priced. We were dissappointed that the 40s part of the advertised events were cancelled so nothing to do in the evening. We never did find the much spoken of cinema in the town centre, today told by Tourist info its...

Spent a really interesting afternoon here. The lady in the cafe was extremely welcoming and helped us look in the archives for my family. I would definitely recommend the lemon drizzle cake! We acquired 4 second-hand books for a donation from the lovely little bookshop and the exhibition was very interesting as my grandparents lived in Ramsey Heights in a fenland cottage just like the one at the museum! Some good activities designed for children so altogether well...

Mondays are always bad for finding nation trust properties or museums open so after several hours of hunting I switched to small town museums. Ramsey being near was top of the list. What a result, lots of old farm equipment outside but inside a real living history museum. We were so engrossed. Loads of exhibits from all aspects of life and not behind glass it was like being there. Can't wait to return using the same ticket for a free...

Ramsey rural museum is a small but beautiful jewel with great history insides of what the town history was. We came on a Saturday and there was an exhibition of old cars along with activities for kids like sand digging which was a lot of fun. There was also an ice cream truck, but there is always a restaurant inside the house where you can have tea. Overall I would recommend visiting this place if you are around.

Had been meaning to visit for ages, and glad that I finally did. Far bigger than I was expecting, with lots of display rooms and different buildings to explore. A terrific walk through Huntingdonshire history, and definitely worth a visit to the tea shop too (that cake!!). Very helpful and knowledgeable volunteers who clearly know their subjects well. I'll definitely be back.

We visited on a sunny autumn day. A lovely countryside location. Most pleasant museum with lots to see and do for all age-groups. Homely tearoom with delicious freshly-baked scones! The staff who are all volunteers were very welcoming, friendly, answered all our questions and made our visit especially memorable. Thank you.
