Did like the place but not after my last visit. Asked for a pool table and the guy said “£12 for one hour” I said “how much!!!” as I knew it was £7 and he said “but you get £5 back when you bring the balls and cues back” He wasn’t forthcoming with that at the beginning. Anyway when I brought the cues and balls back he took them from me and then went off to serve another person. I waited there and then he realised I was waiting for my £5 so he gave me it. At that same point a young couple came and asked for a pool table. Same guy said £12 for the hour and they went off to play. I watched when they came back an hour later and they handed the cues over and did not get any money back. I had a chat with the couple and told them it is only £7 for an hour and you get £5 back. They told me they didn’t get anything back and was told it is £12 for the hour. I told the guy to get his money back and he looked a bit embarrassed to do so. He didn’t want a scene. Lost all trust with the staff there.
