Visited on Saturday 16th November. Lovely warm greeting from staff who were friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is lovely, warm and inviting and is tastefully decorated. The tables in my opinion are a little close together and can be a bit snug for a party of 4 and over especially when the food and side dishes arrive. We had poppadoms and the pickles to start with , which were really tasty. We opted for a Chicken Tikka Balti, Chicken Korma and Chicken Tikka Vindaloo. We had egg fried rice, special rice, onion Naan and Keema Naan and Onion Bhajis. The food arrived hot and sizzling and was plentiful. My wife didnt like her Balti as there were no Peppers or tomatoes? Never had a Balti without these ingredients and my wife was disappointed with he flavour overall. The Vindaloos were nice and spicy but was it the best i have had? No certainly not. The Korma had a lovely flavour and all the dishes were well cooked with amazing spices. We all commented on the rice, not being as nice with big lumps of egg, the onion Bhaji were delicious and the Naan breads were divine. The staff were delightful and very attentive, and the service was superb. The price is a litter higher than you would normally pay at an Indian restaurant but it is lovely inside with excellent service. The parking could be awkward, so we parked in Sainsbury`s and paid for the parking. Would i come back for a return visit? No, i have had better Indian food elsewhere but it is down to ones...
Read moreVery disappointed with tonight's visit.
Went with around 10 business friends for a social night out. While the drinks at the start of the night and the starters were great, things dropped off from there.
With in a few minutes of my main course arriving I found part of what looked to be a plastic bag. I'd presume either the meal was microwaved or boil in the bag.
I raised it with a staff member who took the plastic away and then didn't bother to follow up with me or apologise for the incident. A simple sorry would have done, I wasn't looking for a free meal or anything.
Next one of the group was given a complimentary bottle of wine for some work he'd done for them. However this didn't seemed to be passed onto the staff when they aggressively said we needed to pay for it. Even after 2 separate people had said it was complimentary.
There was also a discrepancy with the bill and again we were aggressively told we'd under paid. Not a problem as we were all paying for out own courses. But the way it was put across made it sound like we were trying to defraud the restaurant, when we'd all have been happy to sort the mistake out.
I can only presume it is under new management as this is a complete turn around from every other visit we've had there.
Its certainly now off my list of...
Read moreAs someone visiting from Haydock in the Northwest, I’ve tried my fair share of Indian restaurants, but this one truly stands out from the moment you walk through the door. The atmosphere immediately grabs you — warm lighting, stylish decor, and a welcoming buzz that tells you you’re in for something special.
What really sets this place apart is the incredible originality of the menu. You won’t just find the usual favourites (though they’re done brilliantly) — the chefs here clearly love what they do, because the menu is packed with creative, one-of-a-kind Indian dishes that you just don’t see elsewhere. Think bold, unexpected flavour combinations and beautifully presented plates that are as exciting to look at as they are to eat.
The service is flawless — attentive without being overbearing, genuinely friendly, and clearly passionate about the food they’re serving. The staff were happy to explain some of the more unusual dishes, and their recommendations were absolutely spot on.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through like me, this place is a must-visit. I left already planning my next trip back — and for me, that’s saying something when I’m coming from the other side of...
