What a fantastic afternoon out. The Wife wanted to do something she'd never done for her 40th and loved the axe throwing. Simon is a super top chap, really friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I didn't really know what to expect other than chucking axes about but we were schooled through differing types of throwing weapons, including an entrenching tool. Didn't expect that. There's loads of other stuff to do as well. The website is pretty good and the guys at Battle archery are swift to respond to requests. The info I was sent was detailed and accurate. Had an awesome day at Uk Active for Father’s Day. Getting to do variations of sword combat and battle archery was brilliant.

Finished off by a calmer trip down the River Avon in kayaks.

Our instructor Sam was really insightful and had great for both the battle elements and kayaking, with great knowledge of the area and wildlife.

Definitely recommended and 100% will be back again for more...

Great experience throwing axes, very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly instructors. Great mix of helping us learn and improve throwing technique and letting us just have a go at it with fun little competitions, games and trick shots. Will definitely book again for the full throwing experience!
