Avon Valley Pumpkin Patch is a shining example of how to create a memorable and enjoyable seasonal experience. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that an incredible amount of thought and effort has gone into every aspect of the event, making it an absolute must visit for anyone looking to embrace the autumn spirit.
The photo opportunities are simply outstanding. Every area is beautifully curated with stunning autumnal and Halloween themed displays, offering countless spots to capture perfect seasonal photos. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or on your own, the attention to detail ensures you’ll leave with some wonderful memories captured on camera.
The pumpkin selection is equally impressive, catering to every taste and need. From classic carving pumpkins to unique decorative varieties, the range is vast and of excellent quality. It’s a pumpkin lover’s paradise. While I don’t have children myself, it’s obvious that this is a fantastic destination for families. Children are well catered for with engaging Halloween themed games, and the cheerful funfair is a delightful addition that adds even more excitement to the visit.
One of the standout features for me was the marshmallow toasting area. The opportunity to sit by the fire, toast marshmallows, and enjoy s’mores was a charming and nostalgic touch. It provided a moment to relax and soak in the festive atmosphere, surrounded by the vibrant buzz of the event.
Despite the wide range of activities on offer, the pricing is refreshingly reasonable, making it accessible for everyone. This balance of affordability and quality makes Avon Valley Pumpkin Patch a truly exceptional destination.
I will undoubtedly return next year to experience it all again and am already looking forward to attending their FEAR event, which I’ve heard great things about. Avon Valley Pumpkin Patch has set a high standard for seasonal attractions, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s an experience that perfectly captures the magic of autumn and Halloween, and one I’m sure will remain a highlight of the season for many...

Hi Kerry, The reason for the £3 per person was to staff and event area and grow pumpkins for people to pick. I am not sure what planet you are on if you think putting together an event like this does not cost me anything, I have to pay staff, electric, rent, rates and VAT so out of you £3 I am lucky if I am left with 30p per ticket. I made it VERY clear on the website what was on offer in the pumpkin patch, your £3 pp give you a covid safe space with limited people on-site and FREE parking. I suggest next year you go to one of the free pumpkin patches as frankly your NOT welcome back here.
I have refunded your £6. Doug Park Owner

Hello
I went to the pumpkin patch 25/10/2020 and was utterly disappointed
Your advertisement made out that it was a great family day out. With food stalls and things to see and fire pits and a real event.
“ Entertainment – Enjoy the pumpkin patch with, fair rides, Pumpkin Paintball, Pumpkin Slingshot and much more!”
Taste & Treats – Snack on a variety of options from local food vendors, warm up with a mug of hot chocolate or an adult beverage!
But then we got there it was just miserable and a total lack of effort.
I felt utterly ripped off.
I think there was 1 food stall and a bar and a couple rides. There wasn’t the excitement and things to see and do like your advertisement made out.
I could of got the same elsewhere and not paid entry.
I would like my money back.
Best...
Read moreI went on a Wednesday, early afternoon. Just a few days before Halloween, still hundreds if not thousands of pumpkins to pick and choose from. All shapes, sizes, colours and combinations.
There was a lot more to do than expected, including multiple food stands, live music, fairground rides, child friendly archery, games, a bar, paintball target shooting and even a fire show on a pumpkin tower.
You can easily spend a couple hours here with young kids. And adults to be fair as the music performances were actually really high quality and you could get a pint on tap for a fiver.
Why four stars? Every single activity is individually priced. This includes taking home a pumpkin, despite there being a priced entry.
I would understand there being paid entry, if an individual pumpkin was included or had the equivalent price of a medium taken off at the till. However, this isn't the case.
To get just one regular sized pumpkin at the event. You pay £5 entry, a £1 booking fee and £4.50 if it measures underneath a certain size. Entering as parents with 3 kids would set you back just under £30 before they each lay their eyes on a slightly large £6.50 pumpkin.
By the time you're ready to sit down for a churro and a hot chocolate, your mind is now worrying about how much this could cost and concerned that your pumpkin is a few centimetres too wide, jumping up a price tier. Rather than enjoying the lovely environment that they built.
In short, way better than expected. As well as being more expensive than expected. And just enough to leave...
