I was lucky enough to be able to visit this hidden gem, which even though it's small, is packed full of history and nostalgia. With a strong family connection to David Brown's it was interesting for me to see a selection of vintage tractors and memorabilia, some of them still in an unbelievably good condition. All nicely laid out with plenty of space to get around and between the exhibits. Lots of information on display and if you needed more, there were quite a few staff on hand to answer any questions. A very friendly and informative place which even had the last tractor made at the Meltham Mills site. Sadly though, it hade a Case badge. In my opinion, someone should have saved the last 'proper tractor' to be produced, with the DB badge on it. With plenty of friendly staff, a great display of tractors, a well-stocked gift/souvenir shop and the sun was blazing down too, what more could you ask for? Highly recommended.

Its a great place to visit. One can learn many things from the vehicle owners, enthusiasts and ex DB workers. Not only the vehicles but also the factory. An array of hot and cold drinks, biscuits, cakes are available plus the shop inside has many DB related items for sale from jumpers to mugs.

What a fantastic little museum in the heart of Meltham, great to see so many cool old tractors lovingly restored and looked after by passionate enthusiasts. the museum is only open one day a month but is definitely worth a) the wait and b) a visit

This is a warm and friendly club for owners of David Brown tractors and tractor enthusiasts. There is a comprehensive display of David Brown Tractors products and descriptions of their features may be gained from the knowlegeable, practical people at the club. I thought that only a few DB tractors were still working every day and that parts were only available through cannibalisation. I was mistaken. At this club I met people who still earn their livings with David Brown tractors and I met other people who can carry out routine servicing any repair that might become necessary with this make of tractor. The final David Brown tractor was made in 1988; and today, such is the need for simple, reliable, repairable equipment, that the means to keep them in good working order remains healthy and effective; and tractors of this type are appreciating in value and much...

I organised a visit to David Brown Tractors Museum in April for Pennine Rotary Club and was amazed at the number of tractors and information available. John Beevers gave an interesting talk.on the history and detailed the rise and fall of the company. We were also welcomed with teas and coffees from their kitchen and later enjoyed an excellent buffet lunch. Altogether a great day out thoroughly enjoyed by the eighteen people...
