Pink Elephant Restaurant — Restaurant in Kirklees

Keep getting scam phone calls from this number..... person with a foreign accent tells me he works for o2 and is based london, wants to give me amazing discount.......... yet on my phone screen it says Pink elephant restaurant Huddersfield. I googled it and can see the address and pictures of the staff...... how stupid and immoral can you get? Reported via phone, email to police and phone call on fraud line. It wasn't Saturday night..... you can see I posted this hours ago at 12:51 (you don't open until 5pm) and it wasn't to my land line, it was my mobile.

Its obvious that no one was cloning anyone ....... 🤦‍♀️ ....... that was obviously the lie, when I started questioning the scammer "where are your "o2" offices based? they said London.. ...... when I could clearly see it said Pink elephant Huddersfield on my incoming call screen. Its also pretty damn amazing that your incoming land line is saved on my phone logs along with the business name. 🤔 but thanks for the reply, I read your other sarky, defensive comments to the other low star reviews, so predicted this. Just want others and yourselves to know that scam phone calls are being made from...

Have visited both restaurants in Exarxeia and Halandri, more than 30 times in between 2019 and 2022. The food is beyond good, however the the portion of meat started getting smaller and smaller over the years. For the first two years I was only visiting the Halandri restaurant. The reason I stopped going is that when I booked a table for two for my birthday in Halandri, they gave us a very small table, we didn't have space for our food there, the water on the floor. So we asked for the bigger one next to us that was free as we had ordered a lot ( planned to take home as well) and the lady, the owner I think, not the waitress, said "no, sorry, more people might come, this is for three " and she took our naan basket/ plate and put it on the couch where people sit! The restaurant was still almost empty, As we were regulars there, we expected at least fir them to try to have decent customer service, as we were spending at least 30 Euros per person every time we went there. So we started going to Exarxeia restaurant. ( different review) Prices are decent, but as I mentioned the meat portions could be a bit bigger, the meat in the curry plates is not enough...

Staying locally for a holiday and the family voted for Indian takeaway for Sunday dinner. I mean why not. This was close to where we were and looked well turned out. The menu looked to have a few unusual items which appealed and set the place apart.

We phoned an order in for collection which took 30 minutes. There's some on street parking round the area but no dedicated parking we could see - not an issue (I think they've moved location recently and the map on the menu is out of date).

I was met by a man at the door who was polite and courteous, he gave me the food and a free bottle of 1664 to boot! Many thanks.

The food was really tasty and had decent portion sizes. We had a mix of vegetarian and meat dishes, I ordered a mixed tandoori (unusual for me). It was ever so good, with a pleasant lemon tang coming through from the marinade on some of the pieces.

We have only had takeaway and I absolutely recommend the food. The interior of the restaurant looked clean and maintained so would expect eating in to be as good as...
