This public parking facility is conveniently located near Dancing Ledge. However, accessing it can be somewhat challenging. The road leading to the parking area is narrow and only allows for single-file traffic. Additionally, there is a daily parking fee of £4. Please note that the parking surface is not paved, so muddy conditions can be expected during rainy weather. Despite these inconveniences, this parking option is the closest available to Dancing Ledge.

The parking app worked (£4.10) and the portable toilet cabins weren't that bad... it is a small single track to get to the carpark and you need to time your visit and hope there is space. We went late afternoon and had no problem. Parking here opens the coastpath to you, but most seemed intent on walking down to Dancing Ledge. There was some livestock in adjacent fields, but the main track to the coast path was fine for the dogs to run off lead.

Decent sized paid parking area that provides a good starting point for a walk to Dancing Ledge. It's free for National Trust members - just scan your card at the machine. Portable toilets on site but no other facilities - that said it's not far from Langton Matravers where you can find refreshments and more. Spyway Barn houses some detailed information boards that explain the area's geology and history.

Made a spontaneous trip here and the car park is of a decent size and monetary value however, would be appreciated if the potholes could be fixed as you either pay to park or would have already paid the National Trust in lump for a membership (in which case parking is free). Either way, money is being made from this car park so better services should be provided. The only lane that leads to the car park is full of (EXTRA) LARGE POTHOLES! I thought I definitely had a popped tyre but thankfully my tyres are quite sturdy. Max speed I could do on the lane was 2mph before my car jumped into a giant hole. Not happy at all - need to take my car...

this is the closest car park to ‘Dancing Ledge’ - this car park is the most weird car park i have ever seen - the car park itself is big enough for like 50 cars but the entrance to the car park is so narrow that when you try to reach it you might think its some kind of a joke - only 1 car can come or go at once and that too very very carefully - once you reach it its like any other car park - its free for National Trust members but...
