I've loved this place since I was a child bramley fall is a wood land that runs along side the leeds and Liverpool canal this place is a great place to walk you're dog /s. Take your children/ grandchildren to explore the great out doors as there is a small enclosed park with swings and slides. Also there are exerciser machines dotted around a gentle walk for those who want to exerciser out doors. Now as you walk further in to the wood land there's several paths to walk there's open fields to picnic with family or friends there's a canal where you can sit and watch the colourful barges and life pass you bye at a much slower pace. Bramley fall park is a great place to relax and get away from all of todays technology and Internet for you and your children/ grandchildren to walk the dog and get plenty of fresh air and see what the beautiful outdoors has...
Read moreWe walk the dog here almost daily, plenty of paths to vary the route and keep it interesting. There are a couple of bits of exercise equipment, but they're not in great condition. And there's a playground for little kids, but not been in that part. Great place to walk the dog though, plenty of space. There's a big field in the middle, they let 2 big stripes of the field be meadow and my dog loves running through the long grass in summer. The woods are great for exploring and there are lots of squirrels. The woods take you right down to the canal so the park joins up some green spaces. Read moreGreat place to walk the dog, a varied selection of Wildlife from Roe Deer to Kingfishers and even the odd Ring Necked Parakeet. There are some good places to explore like an abandoned quarry deep in the woods. Also Leeds Liverpool canal is just at the bottom of the hill and a great pub called the Abbey inn on Newlay lane is just a short walk away. Accessible by Train from Kirkstall station and parking is available on Leeds Bradford Road and on Newlay lane near the football pitches. All the tracks are recognised bridleways so horses and their riders are sometimes seen. Great place that was where all the stone for Kirkstall abbey was quarried years ago. If you can find it look out for the stone shaped...
