Very disappointing. Was recommended this place by a friend. Ordered a box meal for one (chicken pakora, lamb bhuna, pilau rice £13.95), 2 x popadom, 1 x garlic naan, 1 x onion chutney, 1 x garlic mayo = £21.50.. Was honestly put off the minute I opened it. It looked like a prison meal. The curry was mostly a watery sauce, with the bits of lamb that was there really fatty - no meat. The curry was so bland and unfortunately was the worst I’ve EVER had. Chicken pakoras, like nothing I’ve ever seen. Bright red, the smallest bit of chicken wrapped in the biggest clump of batter. I’m not one to normally leave negative reviews, but given the shop shuts at 22:30 didn’t leave time for correction, they don’t deliver so couldn’t have rectified anyway and ultimately I just wouldn’t have tried a replacement. So for tonight’s tea I had a garlic naan and 2 popadoms. Also, only one table was in eating when I arrived so no excuse that it was too busy. Unfortunately I won’t be trying here again, for the price it was nowhere near average.

Plesently surprised, The outside of the restaurant is a bit outdated / unkept and i won't lie it was a bit worrying, however it was very busy and that's always a good sign. Entered the restaurant, a bit small but it is what it is, it was quite tidy, table was ready as pre-booked. Staff seemed friendly and attentive, One downside was no alcohol licence. Starters were large portions and tasted great, mains also no complaints, everyone seemed to enjoy there meal, wasn't a fan of my curry but that was a choice I made that I wouldn't normally have, I think it still tasted fresh and if I had another i'd have enjoyed it too. Prices a bit expensive for what it was but not outrageous. Overall it was good but nothing special, which is pretty much what several other reviews summed up.

I have been going to this restaurant for at least 6+ years and I have never been disappointed! I know Ali, Aktar Qash and chef very well now after all the years of visiting. I try visit at least a couple of times a month and almost feel like part of the blue tiger family I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone who is local! Great service Great atmosphere Great food And great staff Most importantly amazing value What more could anyone ask for!

Hands down the best takeaway in Leeds! My husband drives here from Far Headingley to collect our fix every week, because it far surpasses all of our local delivery options (quite a feat, as we are spoiled for choice in Headingley!)

Our only criticism over 50+ deliveries is that the naans don't travel well and are often cold and hardened by the time we get them home. No matter; it's the perfect excuse to add samosas and bhajis instead! ;)

Service is spot on too. We once accidentally ordered from the wrong branch, but didn't realise until collection. The restaurant made us our order quickly and at no extra charge (even though the mistake was ours.) Also, my daughter once 'helped' my husband to collect an order, so now the restaurant always pops a lollipop in the...
