Lovely walk through the deer park, where there are lots of black fallow deer and bagot's goats. Parked at the car park at Levens Hall which surprisingly is free. The deer park is across the road, where there are two gates, one on each side of the river, you can go through either gate take a circular route through the park. At the end of the park there's a bit of road walking to get to the entrance for the return journey on the other side of the river. There are toilets at Levens Hall too, which was handy. Lots of really, really old looking trees and of course lots of deer! There's a decent cafe at Levens Hall and a large car park.
